| This is shocking. I did not follow his career closely, but he had many prominent West End roles, including Rhett Butler in Trevor Nunn's Gone with the Wind, one of the leads in From Here to Etermity, Nicky Arnstein at Menier Chocolate Factory and the West End transfer, and a replacement Billy Flynn in Chicago and Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls. He also came in 3rd in the first season of Pop Idol (the UK show from which American Idol came) and had a # 1 UK single after his time on the show. He was very talented, and I am sorry to hear this. |
