| I looked up the definition of pleurosis end it just indicates a inflammation of the lungs not quite affecting what Laura has. The script though is very clear that she has a limp whatever the cause is. I believe one production had her in a wheelchair which of course makes no sense because she goes out to the store for her mother. In any event Laura has a disability and an inability to socialize with other people which leads to her affinity for her glass menagerie. |
