| There are two or three published texts with some differences between them. I don't see it discussed with any specificity in the dialogue in the one I have looked at. Williams's character description says this: "A childhood illness has left her crippled, one leg slightly shorter than the other, and held in a brace. This defect need not be more than suggested on the stage." |
