I'll admit, Passion is a common play in my phone and car... and often once I get into it, I have to see it through (especially if singing along in the car on a trip). And I generally find the experience of the score alone to be my preference from the entire musical, because then it exists as more of a fluid kind of memory/dream opera. I think the musical as a whole is beautiful, and I think the book is very very good, I've loved seeing it staged the few times I have or the many times I've seen the filmed original, but the score alone really does it for me.
