| Having read the book, I can testify that the Arthur Laurents stuff is best enjoyed creeping up on you when you don't expect it. I found it VERY funny. And it just comes at you in bits, though by the end you get the picture. I agree with the poster who wrote that reading the book is like hearing a wonderful, wide-ranging conversation. So much to savor. |
