She's great but it's a bit too manic for me. I know it's not fair to compare but Streisand knew how to balance the jittery chatter with velvety gorgeousness. And the way Streisand handled the propulsive drive of the song made you believe in what she was saying. The mania was pointing the character to success, this feels like the mania is pointing the character to medication.
