She canceled herself. No one else — not a single person or entity is responsible for the state of Ms. Osnes’ career other than Ms. Osnes.
Her position on this issue is as disrespectful and offensive as it gets. An industry that has been devastated by closure and great losses (Nick Cordero’s, for one) doesn’t have to welcome or celebrate anyone’s ignorance or entitlement. If she wanted a place at the table, all she had to do was abide by the rules. She chose not to.
Good fucking riddance.
