| I have read all the articles. What did she do wrong? My understanding from ALL that I have read in papers, (not chat boards), is that she is indeed an anti-vaccer. That is her right. She did not work anywhere and lie about being vacced to get the job. AEA allows one non vacced member in a company, without any change in protocols other than more frequent tests for that artist. A producer may choose to only employ vacced persons - that is their right. I choose to believe Ms Osnes wehn she said that she would have been happy to test every day, if that option had been given her - but it wasnt. To want a job, while being unvaccinated, is not a crime. To take the job, is not a crime, if the producer activates the rules for having a non-vacced company member. Keep in mind, when AEA Covid rules go away - and I believe they will go away sooner rather than later at all of our unions, to be in sync with the world around them. (PS. I am double vacced and double boosted 0 and have worked since the re-opening in 4 completely vacced companies) Ms Osnes is very talented. She is also very conservative, and a practising Christian. She is also an anti vaccer. None of those things should be reason for us to not respect her and her choices, and not look forward to her return to stages in New York. |
