"Keeping Up Appearances" was shown on PBS in the US for many years and was a favorite. Josephine Tewson was a great foil (as the long suffering next door neighbor) to Patricia Routledge's Hyacinth Bucket ("It's pronounced Boo-kay"!") as was Clive Swift as Hyacinth's long suffering husband. Rest in peace, Ms. Tewson.
