| I think most of the posts here show exactly why Laura Osnes is suing the Post. By implying that she had to be fired rather than voluntarily withdrew form the concert, it has created an atmosphere of anger and hatred directed at Osnes. People here are accusing Osnes of putting her fellow performers at risk. Osnes put no one at risk. She withdrew, voluntarily without an argument. She was open and honest about her health status. I happen to disagree with her choice. Being a practicing Christian myself, I fail to see anything in the religion which forbids vaccination. But that I guess is my interpretation, not hers. I am so grateful I was vaccinated because I did come down with Covid, testing positive a day and a half before I began to show symptoms. Thanks to being vaccinated and boosted, my case was very mild and except for a very very sore throat, no worse than a mild cold. I have a question for Osnes and others. Being Christian and believing in that, who then do you believe created Science and guides the actions of scientists and medical workers? I do hope for Osnes sake, the case is resolved and at some point she either chooses to be vaccinated or better yet this virus becomes so weakened it is all but gone away and she can return to a forgiving community to work. | |
