| I think the version of Funny Girl that Delvino wants would be produced by someone other than Frances Brice's husband. There's a definate attempt to reinvent her parents relationship in the script that never really holds true - if we erase mommy's first marriage and (in the sequel) diminish her third, then clearly Daddy was the only man Mommy ever really loved... |
