My first introduction to Karen Morrow was a City Center production of OKLAHOMA. I've been a fan ever since. John Davidson was Curly and along with Morrow's Ado Annie was another performer I've also loved through the years, Susan Watson, as Laurey. A great theatre memory. Side thought: A while back, I mentioned this here. I'm not sure if this is still true but remain curious. At the time I recall overhearing an adult sitting behind me say it was the first time an actress playing Laurey (Watson) also danced the character's role in the "Dream Ballet." I've seen other productions since then but the ballet has always been danced by another person.
