Maybe "what really happened" is exactly what's been described: Beanie auditioned, and was cast by a creative team that was keen to counter-program the Streisand effect by going for someone whose forte was physical comedy rather than vocal strength. Occam's razor.
This "she bought the part" conspiracy that's been constructed out of whole cloth without a shred of evidence is just... embarrassing. |
