| Beanie was probably very engaging in auditions. The scale of thr production is much smaller than normal. And, as staged, Fanny’s big breakout solo turns are sometimes forced into being shared. I’m the Greatest Star and Corner Man both have scene-stealing from Eddie Ryan, and she is made to share Who Are uou Now with Nickie, and she doesn’t get to sing the movie’s Funny Girl song. |
