| Can someone please explain this comment to me? Were there many performers named "Kim" in the original run? Unfortunately, I never got to see this show off-Broadway. It isn't clear to me which performers were part of the original production and which ones are newly cast. | |

| More than 20% of Koreans are Kims, while 15% are Lees. If you add Park, you account for almost half the population. | |

| I can only think of four Kims, and all first names, none of them Korean - from Kiss Saigon, Bye Bye Birdie, Show Boat, and of course Kimberly Akimbo. | |
