I wonder how many people are actually watching "live" television anymore anyway. I'm in my 40's and it seems that the number of people I know with a cable subscription is shrinking all the time. The folks hanging on are almost always older than me, not younger.
When we cut the cord in our house, Spectrum Cable desperately tried to keep us by offering an array of options, none of which were lower prices for the service we had. Had their rates not skyrocketed over the past few years, we might have stayed with them. There were things I liked about having the service, but the price made it no longer worth keeping. |
