| On BWW, some consternation about the drop in (advance) sales. But the original run was likely a special circumstance. I raced off to buy my tickets for the final week, back when it was the final week. A whopper hit can become a more modest one, no? That $2 million+ per week likely won't show up throughout September, since the production has generously embraced the new iteration of Broadway "Week" (Sept. 6-25). I know two people who got great 2-for-1 seats for weeknights in September, and many families wanting to take children may now find the production more affordable. |
