| I see today Amazon is offering not one but THREE "Summaries of SHY" by (1) Kate Wilson, (2) Sharon Davids and (3) Dr. Johanna Mitchell WTF? who are these people? Or are these just attempts by well meaning folks to supply the missing "Index" to the book that everyone is wishing for? |

| I am new to this "Summaries of" initiative. Are they intended as "readers digest" versions? Reviews you pay to read? Presumably they are authorised by the publishers? The UK site list 8 for my perusal. I will only be buying Mary's original when the paperback is back in stock. | |

| Stage Manager is being too kind. The authors of those summaries are just trying to make a quick buck. In a "sneak peek" inside one summary, Dr. Joanna Mitchell refers to the Rodgers musical as "Once Upon a Sleeping Pad" and, later, as "Once Upon a Bedding." What kind of "Dr." do you suppose she is? | It could be that she is not a native speaker of English and doing her best. Or perhaps the article has been translated into English by a program and not checked by a native speaker. | |

| Perhaps someone has already mentioned to Rob Lester that it was "The Sound of Music," not "Flower Drum Song," which tied with "Fiorello!" for the Tony Award in 1960 -- but just in case... | |
