| I’m looking for Leopoldstadt tickets, and even with the very modest, not-valid-on-weekends Broadway Offers discount, locations in orchestra and mezz seem expensive to me. What is the balcony at the Longacre like? I’ve sat in the balcony at the Schubert and the Cort, both of which I find to be excellent for the price, but the balcony in a theater like the Walter Kerr or the St James makes me feel like I’m in another country. How does the Longacre compare? | |

| It's similar to the Cort. I have sat up there many times and found the view to be very good - as long as you avoid the poles, as noted. SeatPlan (linked below) has pictures and reviews of various seating locations. |

| I agree that it is very similar to the Cort. They always struck me as being twin theaters. | |

| I think the Longacre Balcony is a great choice. That theater feels more like a London house, with the balcony being lower and closer to the stage. As mentioned below, you do need to be careful with the poles, though those can also lead to some great bargains. At least for the Scottish Play, they sold the very last row in the balcony next to the booth as partial view for a good discount; if you get one of the seats nearest to the booth, the pole only obstructs the very side of the stage and otherwise the view is great. If you are further out towards the aisle, that can change. | |

| I was in the balcony for "A Bronx Tale" (the musical) and was right behind one of those poles. Had to move. | |

| I love the Longacre. But that’s just a scandal. | |

| Thanks. All responses very helpful! Will probably go for the balcony but I’ll ask about the poles when I buy tix at the b.o. | |
