| Which is way too long here. The subscription period is 4 weeks. There are lots of seats available after that period. The model that is better is 4-6 weeks and return later on for additional weeks like hadestown which I’m surprised is only one week next fall. Even before covid, they considered dropping to standard 3 weeks but they didn’t know how to accommodate the 4th week subscribers with good seats in a 3 week run. I really don’t think there is much crossover in the sac San Jose San Fran market. Some people my drive 90 minutes to go to other markets but I don’t think it’s that big of a number. |

I think the trouble for them on tour is that on top of being a large physical production on stage, they're trying to create some version of the immersive experience of Broadway on the road, which will involve a more complex load-in and load-out than the relatively smaller and more contained "Hadestown", so doing quick one-week stops is not as feasible. | |
