| When I moved to NYC in 1978 I stayed with couple and one had been Robert's roommate at Julliard. In Feb of 1978 I went to see Mamet's "The Engine Engine" and in the cast was Bobbie's little sister Patti ( that's how I first knew her ). Been to a lot of MCC productions when they were down the street from me at the Lucille Lortel Theater ( being gutted at the moment ). |

| I can't answer the question on an existential level but my recollection is that the New Group is taking it over and essentially reconstructing the interior which, despite its history, could use more than a fresh coat of paint. I do not know exactly what "gutted" means. | |

| The play is called "The Water Engine." A sad loss for the NY theatrical community. The Telsey/Cantler tribute is vivid and heartfelt. Condolences to Patti and his family; may he Rest In Peace. |
