| What are you babbling about? Did you read the article? It's happening. Burstyn has already shot her scenes and will shoot four more days in Nov. She clearly states she turned down all the sequels she was offered. Her price was an actor scholarship program at Pace U. | |

| What a noble donation! Am so glad to see Ms. Burstyn working a lot....she also will be paying Gertie in the film of FUDDY MEERS. And THE EXORCIST has Ann Dowd in it too....will want to see this, & yes, it's almost completed filming! | |

| Apparently it’s not exactly a sequel - what is now labeled a legacy sequel; new story entirely will unfold and in researching exorcism, the current protagonist(s) archive the story of Chris McNeill. Linda Blair will not appear. I’m guessing Burstyn’s participation is more in the substantive cameo range. This is off topic but does clarify why this star would accept the role and thus fund the acting program. Hamilton’s great Leslie Odom Jr and (any) franchise MVP Ann Dowd star. |
