Apparently it’s not exactly a sequel - what is now labeled a legacy sequel; new story entirely will unfold and in researching exorcism, the current protagonist(s) archive the story of Chris McNeill. Linda Blair will not appear. I’m guessing Burstyn’s participation is more in the substantive cameo range. This is off topic but does clarify why this star would accept the role and thus fund the acting program.
Hamilton’s great Leslie Odom Jr and (any) franchise MVP Ann Dowd star. |
