| Great suggestion! The original version was such a groundbreaking musical for so many reasons. The score was a bonafide knockout back in 1966, especially "Meeskite", "Why Should I Wake Up", and the other song you cite. I love Fosse's film but I really regret never being able to see a staging of the original Cabaret. I second your call for an Encores mounting. |
