It's not pedantic, it's a good question - and an example of how every story, at some level, has to have some kind of flaw in order to make the rest of it work.
Likewise, if the beans were to come from a giant stalk, why are they not giant beans?
We have to chalk a lot up to "magic" taking care of the logistical issues. |
