This isn’t a LCT production where they are sole producers like women on the verge or the nance. In those cases, they could offer any seat in the house to members. With co-produced shows like this and mockingbird, the lead producer most likely controls pricing and seat allocation. Granted that LCT has clout at the table, but offering $170 orch seats for $65 really doesn’t hold much weight to the lead producer.
I assume that lct members have access to unsold seats closer to performance so that is probably the thing to do is just wait. This show isn’t going to be a sellout like mockingbird. |
