| My guess is that the producers are treating the Lincoln Center Member discount as they would any other discount offer from, say, Theatermania or Playbill Club. The best seats are always excluded from those discount offers. That said, I think producers are wildly overestimating interest in this production. With Audra, it will probably do respectable business, but it won’t be anywhere near a sellout. |
