There's a photo of a young Kennedy Kanagawa and Ann Harada. It looks like a recording session. Anyone know what show?

Google is a wonderful thing:

I heard you’ve worked with Ann several times?

‍I did [the 2018 NAAP concert] with Ann Harada—she played The Witch!—which was really fun. She was also in the very first professional show I did, the all-Asian production of Falsettoland at the Vineyard. I played Jason when I was 13 and she was Trina. So, it’s been such a fun journey, starting out with her. One time I asked her, “What is belting?,” and Jason Ma said, “Ann, would you demonstrate?" So, she’s like one that made me understand belting and now we’re hanging out together with the cow.‍

How lovely and condescending of you.

I googled. In fact, I took a screenshot from the video and did a reverse google image search of that photo. No results.

I googled Kennedy Kanagawa Ann Harada and found that they have worked together several times, but not what production that photo was from. Since they have worked together more than once, I was interested in what that photo was from. Most of the information was, understandably, about the Into The Woods concert.

Neither you nor Google answered my question. But thanks for taking the time out of your day to be condescending and unhelpful.

What a sweet young man. Good for him. I wonder if he's hired a publicist or if the show's publicity team set that up. Seems to me like he's wisely cashing in on a big career moment. I hope he has a great career going forward.

I had hoped Milky would get her own spot in the curtain call, as she and Kennedy Kanagawa would have received thunderous applause. There was one point early in the show, when she was going to be sold, that she looked like she had tears in her eyes. The audience gave a collective "Aw," and I think I wasn't the only one feeling a little emotional. Though I doubt if Milky White could get a Featured Actor nomination for a Tony, Kennedy Kanagawa to me would be deserving of one.

I agree. In two iterations of this production, not at all lacking in starry performances, Kennedy Kanagawa managed to stand out in the crowd with a detailed and sensitive performance that got singled out in several reviews. To me, his nomination would be no different than Boyd Gaines, Karen Ziemba, and Deborah Yates being nominated for Contact. I think it would be very well deserved!
