I had hoped Milky would get her own spot in the curtain call, as she and Kennedy Kanagawa would have received thunderous applause. There was one point early in the show, when she was going to be sold, that she looked like she had tears in her eyes. The audience gave a collective "Aw," and I think I wasn't the only one feeling a little emotional. Though I doubt if Milky White could get a Featured Actor nomination for a Tony, Kennedy Kanagawa to me would be deserving of one.

I agree. In two iterations of this production, not at all lacking in starry performances, Kennedy Kanagawa managed to stand out in the crowd with a detailed and sensitive performance that got singled out in several reviews. To me, his nomination would be no different than Boyd Gaines, Karen Ziemba, and Deborah Yates being nominated for Contact. I think it would be very well deserved!
