Since I’m out of town, I did drop membership. I tended to see shows at Newhouse that I would have skipped paying full price and should have seen something else instead. But then I paid $199 for rear orch for mockingbird and similar price for king and I. I probably would have been better to keep the membership for those shows.
And as Ann pointed out, it is like a donation to help the nonprofit. Also, LCT has broadcast most shows on pbs than roundabout or mtc combined over the years. I don’t know why membership isn’t a tax deductible donation, but the republicans eliminated my itemizing by giving tax breaks to the one percent anyway. |
