| ... which says absolutely nothing about seat location. It promises a chance to purchase before the general public and discounts on regular ticket prices. Caveat emptor. And you can enjoy that. |

| I don’t understand why the hostility towards those expressing disappointment, however hyperbolic, with the tickets being offered to LCT members. Lincoln Center makes it seem like it’s a gift for us members to be offered mostly lousy seats at member prices. It’s not. | |

| Do you really not understand hostility to hyperbole? Should you choose to answer that, I'll ask a bonus question: can you point to where in the communications you have received from LCT they "make it seem like it's a gift"? As I asked the other person, what is it that you would have them do in this situation? I'm all for better management but I think complaints are most effective when they can be tethered to some reality. |

| How do they act like it's a gift? I think seats offered at the Lincoln Center theaters are pretty good (and often get better close to the performance). | |

| Yes, but the seats offered have not been good for THIS production. Perhaps, as you suggest, seat selection will be better closer to performance date, but I guess I’m still clinging to the obsolete model I grew up with where the further in advance tickets were purchased, the better the seats were. | |

| Seats get better because members cancel or exchange their tickets shortly before they're supposed to go. Same thing happens with the Public, who also has members, not subscribers. That's a perk to me. I don't know if there's an exception to this policy for Ohio State Murders, since it's not their theater. I don't think the model you describe has been valid for a few years (in general), at least not in my experience - maybe since premium sales started. When did you grow up, anyway :) (just kidding - authentic smiley there) |

Then I'm guessing you grew up before premium seating was a thing. I'm not surprised that the best seats are being held back for the big spenders rather those who have plunked down $50 members. And yeah, It's a bummer. But "animals are treated better"? LOL. This kid's goat might disagree. |
