I never buy reports about the length of a standing ovation. 6 minutes is a long time. And who was timing? If it’s true, that’s amazing and, in my mind, unprecedented. All of that said, I can’t wait to see it.

Variety also reported that ''Bones and All,'' the Luca Guadagnino movie starring Timothy Chalamet as a bisexual cannibal, got a 8.5-minute standing ovation two days ago at Venice. ... And Variety reported that Baz Luhrmann's ''Elvis'' got a 12-minute standing ovation at the Cannes Film Festival.
