Aside from not being historically accurate, this show hasn't brought incest into the interpretation. It's actually a very innocent take on Jefferson, and offers a much more compassionate view of the historical figure than "Hamilton" does, which is also true to the text. Unlike "Hamilton", this "1776" isn't interested in throwing some Founding Fathers under the bus in order to spare others (i.e. there's essentially no acknowledgment in "Hamilton" that Washington owned slaves, and very little time spent on Hamilton's own involvement in the slave trade); this show, rightfully, implicates everyone in the institution of slavery and its perpetuation as part of the United States' founding priorities.

And thus, no, Sally does not make an appearance.
