For Shrek--The Musical, I was in the balcony! If I were in the front row and I was at a show like that, I like to believe that I would remain seated, smile, and applaud the show and the many artists who worked on the show. But I agree the pressure would be much greater there (and the "message" to the actors possibly misconstrued by some).
