| I was there as well! What row? I was completely enraptured in D13. The cop was tops. K. Todd Freeman is a certain Obie nominee. I do agree with your points. The victim’s approach was contrived. It’s a valid gripe. But I did suspend disbelief during the play. The old grin and beat it, I guess. The surprise was so telegraphed. I immediately jumped to the likely conclusion and filed it away. The staging still made for high shock value. |
