Speaking of puffed up peacocks…
I don’t read anyone hoping she is denied a career at all. I do read people (myself included) beyond frustrated that, because of Laura and those who refuse to get vaccinated, COVID is here to stay. And it’s going to kill more people.
The loss of Nick Cordero and Terrence McNally are inestimable to the theatre community. And, really, is t that enough to get us all on board. These voices were ACTUALLY silenced (as Laura herself claims to be in the Playbill article, if you can believe that).
Her sense of entitlement is breathtaking. And her victimization is outrageous — she demonstrates ZERO accountability for the state her career is in.
Whatever. She moved away and is continuing to work and even got (half?) an album recorded. Doesn’t mean we have to support her. Nor does it mean the theatre community has to support her. We’ve all suffered loss as a result of COVID. But the us-versus-them of it all, in this case, began and ends with Ms. Osnes.
