Yes, but you must dance through hoops, be internet savvy to find the ever-changing discounts, be off on specific weekdays between the hours of 2 and 2:15 pm, and blah blah blah. An entry ticket of even $20 each makes it a special occasion, not something a middle class family can do much. It's completely out of reach for the poor. As with Bway shows, NY museums have become a tourist money grab.
NYers pay taxes that keep these museums afloat. They should ALL be pay what you wish for NYers. |
