Of course she could harm others if she caught it and gave it to them. Just because others hanging around this unvaccinated assh*le are vaccinated does not mean they are entirely immune when exposed. It just means they’re most likely not going to die from it. I know many people who kept up with the boosters, still got the virus, and have had terrible times with it. Some developed “long Covid,” one still suffers “brain fog” and fatigue months later. To say nothing of the fact that we still don’t know the long term effects of Covid on the brain, heart, and immune system.

Then there’s the risk posed by any vaccinated individuals who get Covid from jerks like Osnes to anyone in their family who might not have had the vaccine yet, like small children and babies. When this whole episode unfolded, if I recall correctly, the vaccine was not yet available to kids. That’s an issue that hits home with me. My six year old granddaughter Phoebe has had juvenile arthritis since she was one. That’s an autoimmune disease, and she’s on Humira and immunosuppressants. Thankfully, she could get the .Covid vaccine, but there are a whole bunch of others she simply can’t get. She needs to rely on herd immunity to keep her safe.

We were able to eradicate smallpox through vaccines. We reduced childhood mortality drastically through vaccines. We could have saved thousands more from Covid if everyone got on board and regarded this as a public health issue, not a political.

If Osnes has such little regard for others, she can take her unvaccinated bod and sing her self-righteous tunes on some desert island. And may the seagulls shit on her head.
