| I don't know why you are struggling with this. If I am sick with the flu, I put people around me at increased risk of contracting it as well. If i get the flu vaccine, I mitigate the risk that I will contract it and give it to others, but that does not mean the primary purpose of the vaccine is to prevent transmission. It is a side benefit, but not what the vaccine is designed to achieve—which, as stated earlier, is to boost the body's immunity. |
