A friend is directing a regional production, and in media res, curious about how it played (1 hr 50, no intermission) and the audience's palpable response, including (im)patience. The post-nuclear disaster play has major -- theme and plot defining -- revelations in its final half hour that are only hinted at earlier, and apparently it's a challenge to make work, once you begin to put it on its feet. If anyone has any memories, I'd love to relate them. The piece was a response to the Fukushima accident.
