I still have my program from that engagement. I talked my mother into driving me from Buffalo and taking me to the matinee. We went around back after the show and waited for Mary to come out so she could sign it. My mother saw her chauffeur and gave him a dollar and my program, he brought my program to her dressing room and Mary Martin signed the cover. One of my great treasures.
