It is now. Back then it was a movie house after the fall of vaudeville. We would get an occasional bus and truck. Locally I had to depend on Melody Fair for shows to come through in the summer. But oh wonderful memories of the great pre and post productions at the fabulous O'Keefe Centre. Besides Mary Martin in Hello Dolly I got to see Ethel Merman in Annie Get Your Gun, Paul Lipson in Fiddler, Melina Mercouri in Illya Darling, Fritz Weaver in Baker Street, the 10th anniversary tour of Hello Dolly with the one and only Carol, and many, many more. I was too young at the time, but The O'Keefe was also the theatre that world premiered Camelot in 1960 with Richard Burton, Julie Andrews and Robert Goulet.
