Did you read EvFoDr's post above. He called the production ugly. No...I'm not making that up.
Mary Phagan's funeral goes on forever. And we get that the odds are stacked against Leo. We're told over and over again. Both musically and in the libretto. But without the repetition, I guess there wouldn't be any musical. Still, I wanted to yell: "I got it. He's getting railroaded!" |
