| So happy to read these comments, as I was afraid that I was the "only one." I wanted so much to love this show, and it left me totally cold. Performances were great, but music, lyrics, and story (which I thought was ridiculous) were so lacking. Perhaps my expectations were way too high? Total respect for those who loved it, and I certainly wish it well, but I can't imagine sitting through it a second time, even with a heavily discounted ticket, or as someone's guest. |
