| I saw the 2007-2008 revival of Hair with a friend who is a staunch anti-N word advocate, having given lectures about it within her community. I asked her about its use in the show and it didn’t bother her at all. No one calls anyone by that word in Hair. It’s used to describe how those using it feel treated. |
