Leopoldstadt is selling because of Tom Stoppard and The Piano Lesson is selling because of Samuel L. Jackson. The other plays are suffering because they don't feature big names. Same old, same old. This article doesn't address that fact. Although Broadway has been rightfully applauded for having more racially diverse shows since the theater reopened, much of that diversity has little to do with conscience. It comes from the fact that theaters were available.
