| Dramedy, my tastes seem to line up with yours on Martin McDonagh. I find him hit or miss. I really enjoyed ''The Beauty Queen of Leenane'' and loved ''The Lieutenant of Inishmore.'' But ''Hangmen,'' ''A Behanding in Spokane'' and now ''The Banshees of Inisherin'' bored me silly. As much as I admired Colin Farrell's deservedly ballyhooed performance, it's still an Irish shaggy dog, or shaggy donkey, story, at the end of the day. |
