That's a good list of the exceptions to the !st Amendment freedom of speech doctrine but let me reiterate what I said in another post which is that the 1st Amendment addresses limitations BY THE GOVERNMENT on free speech. The issue addressed in this thread is that private citizens have chosen to stop doing business with an entity that they do not want to do business with (and I use the term business in the broad sense). That direct action has nothing to do with speech in any event and, to the extent it can be viewed as encouraging others to quit or boycott Twitter, the irony is that the latter is in fact protected "speech." So Mr. Dropout has everything ass backwards and it is important that the rest of us maintain clarity in the face of that incorrect information.
