When Mandy Patinkin left THE SECRET GARDEN, the actor who replaced him (Howard McGillan) had Archie's songs brought up higher. You can hear the key change in LILY'S EYES when Arche starts singing, but it was in other numbers as well.
Interesting Fact: When the Billys in the orginal production of BILLY ELLIOT (and its tours) would go through their voice change, their songs were lowered for them. |
