It was said to have been the first time since the original production that the full original orchestrations were used, although I wonder if that was true since the orchestrations sound quite full on the original London cast recording. Admittedly, the London production replaced two numbers, and the recording was only one LP, with a number of songs not recorded, but on what we hear, the orchestrations sound to me like the originals. |
